Cosy Camp / Derbyshire Kids Camp - Field Provision

Derby Kids' Camp is a 100% volunteer-run charity committed to providing FREE holidays for many of Derby City and Derbyshire's most deserving young children.

As part of our commitment to supporting causes that support children directly, Cosy Foundation are key partners of Derby Kids Camp – providing the Venue and Volunteers to support the camp each year. Grass roots sports groups sponsorship

Cosy Foundation has supported 12 local children’s sports teams across Derbyshire through sponsorship. We love to see children enjoying sports, staying active, meeting friends and building relationships.

Cosy Community Hub - Umbrellas

Umbellas Cosy Hub is a Community Drop in Centre that provides a centre for anyone to simply pop in for a cuppa and something to eat, play boardgames or take advantage of the wide range of activities on offer each day.

Derbyshire Olympian Support Programme

Cosy Foundation are delighted to be able to support our local Olympian hopefuls via sponsorship through the Derby Institute of Sport. The Derbyshire Institute of Sport had 10 athletes based there taking part in the Tokyo 2020 olympics! WOW! Cosy Foundation are proud to support the work that Derby Museums do for the city of Derby and throughout Derbyshire. One of our most recent projects was to sponsor a Ram on the city’s popular ram trail in 2021

Community Volunteer Projects

We support many local projects across Derbyshire. We want to support projects in the areas of school, work in the community and so will also fund voluntary only non public sector/ non private sector organisations that are dealing with children.

Derby book
festival

Derby Book Festival was born over a glass of wine by two local book lovers, Jenny Denton and Sian Hoyle in February 2014.

Cosy are a proud sponsor of this amazing event in the cultural calendar with a nine day Festival each June across the city of Derby

Cosy Direct Team
Volunteer Time

Cosy encourages its staff to support local charities by giving 10 paid hours per year where staff are actively encouraged to go and volunteer at a group, non-profit or charity of their choice.

The 1000 volunteer hours the Cosy Direct Team contribute each year are used supporting many great local causes across Derbyshire as well as national organisations
