Over the years Cosy Foundation has supported young people in some of the most beautiful but poorest parts of Africa.
We work with local volunteers and groups to try and provide essential support to improve the lives and prospects of children in areas that need it the most.
Classroom Builds & School Enhancement Projects
Our fund has provided money to help build and maintain schools, nurseries and play areas to try and make sure that children have a safe place to learn & play. Our support also provides space that gives children an opportunity to learn that they may not have had without our help
We have supported projects that include the refurbishment of school buildings, classrooms, and playgrounds as well as other essential infrastructure needed to offer learning and play to young people. We even BUILT A NURSERY in the wonderful Kenya!!!!
In 2021 we funded a project to supply water to a school and extended village. This water supply meant that the children who would have normally had to walk to fetch water for their families could spend additional time in education.
We have also supported schools with equipment and classroom furniture.

Sponsorship
The cosy fund has worked with the amazing LangaLanga Trust supporting disadvantaged students through secondary school and university. These bright young minds wouldn’t have been able to continue in education without our support.
As part of our support LangaLanga Trust we have sponsored 10 bright but poor rural children through primary school, boarding in secondary through to degree level. We have helped create nurses, teachers, engineers, chemists, and a doctor.
These students are now able to not only support themselves but also families.

Teachers
& Coaches
As part of our support in Gambia – Cosy Foundation fund a teacher in the nursery we built! Enabling early access to education for the local children.
We also fund 3 Sports coaches which deliver coaching and PE to schools, coach children and adult sports teams

Working with local Derby charity Project Arusha we have the privilege of sponsoring 12 orphan students through education is Tanzania
